NEW YORK, NY. April 18, 2019 – Hyundai Hope On Wheels kicked-off its 21ST Annual Campaign against pediatric cancer at the New York International Auto Show. In 2019, the Hyundai Dealer Group will award $16 million in grants to pediatric cancer research hospitals across the country, making a lifetime investment into treatments and cures of more than $160 million.
A priority for more than 2 decades, each year Hyundai Hope on Wheels finds new ways to do more. On April 17, 1,000 New Yorkers attended the first Hope On Wheels Pop-Up Concert, on the plaza outside the Flatiron Building. Kids and community members covered the official Hyundai Hope vehicle with handprints to live performances from recording artist Doug E. Fresh and DJ Jamal McCoy.
